For the last year or so each day seems better than the one before. We have been consistently hitting big pockets on a regular basis.

Late October 2004

A few weeks after the World Championships we hit pay-dirt (literally) with a pocket of fantastic clusters. This pocket produced about 16 buckets AAA Grade Clusters. They are very clear and They have a very high shine.

April 2005

We hit three major pockets in a row. These pockets were so big we could actually sit inside them. All 3 pockets produced over 3,500 pounds of Beautiful Clear Crystals.

Here are just a few pieces from the nearly 1200 pounds of the clear crystals we removed from just one of the pockets.

The fun (and pockets) just keep on coming. Here is another hole that yielded a 1000+ pounds of Beautiful Crystal.

October 2005

Arrowhead Crystal Mine won again!!! On October 6,7,8, during the Mt.Ida World Championship Crystal Dig, our diggers took 7 out of 10 place finishes including all 5 of the cluster awards.

October 11, 2005

WOW. Is about all we can say. We were moving some dirt and unearthed one of the biggest pockets we have ever seen. So far it is 4 feet wide and 9 feet deep and we still have not found the back of this monster. If you are looking for flawless 30+ pound mega-clusters/burrs with coke can size points, give us a call quickly because these won't last long. Here is the mine owner Matthew Price with his hand on one of the "average" clusters from this pocket. We also found some beautiful points up to 14 inches long!!

October 23, 2005
We found another big pocket which produced over 35 buckets of beautiful crystals. Below is the mine owner Matthew Price holding a nice clear point that just came out of the pocket behind him. Below to the right is a picture of a beautiful cluster with a 17 inch doulble point on the top of it. This is one of many clusters that came out of this pocket. The way this pocket is looking , I'll be digging for days on this pocket alone. One digger found a 50 Pound cluster that was found in the spoils pile from this pocket. It had Beautiful Coke Can size points all over it.

The big pocket finally ended and it produced over 3,000 pounds of Beautiful Points and Clusters. I had alot of diggers at the mine during the time I mined this pocket. I found so much crystal , that I gave alot of nice clusters and points to diggers during this excavation. They left extremely Happy.

I have been getting ready for the crystal dig and the results have been amazing. I mined 34 buckets of crystals 2 days ago and another 14 today just from playing around a little. The crystals are Extremely Clear and are very Beautiful. I'm sure the Diggers for the upcoming World Championship Dig will be having Lots of fun this year.

October 2006

Arrowhead Crystal Mine won again!!! On October 12,13,14 during the Mt.Ida World Championship Crystal Dig, our diggers took 7 out of 10 place finishes including 4 of the cluster awards and 3 of the point Awards. Arrowhead Crystal Mine took 1st Place in Clusters and Points.

November 2006

We were playing around one day in a new area that we will be opening up soon to diggers and found some huge crystal points that weighed up to 15 pounds. Below is a picture of one of the points that we found within 2 feet of the surface.

March 9, 2007

We have been doing alot of mining the past week with a 50,000 pound trackhoe that a friend of mine brought out. We mined over 3 tons in one week. We found many large Clear Points up to 12 pounds and so many beautiful clusters. We also been finding Beautiful Blue Phantoms , Arkansas Smoky Points , Faden Crystals and the list goes on. The Spoil Piles at the mine have alot of crystals in them from this big dig and the diggers that have been coming to the mine have been doing Great. Below are some pictures of some of my latest finds.
